30 years in business. I pushed a 21 inch Lawnmower, towed an electric curved shaft weedeater, and a 100 foot extension cord, door-to-door around my neighborhood In Ormond Beach from the time I was 10 years old on. Got pretty good at it, decided to stick with what I knew. The rest as they say, is history. Time flies when you’re having fun lol.
When I officially started my business, I made two declarations. First that I would never treat my employees with anything less than the upmost respect. Having experienced employers who acted as if they were doing a hard worker a favor by giving them a job. Clearly this is a team effort. One can hardly exist without the other. The second was to treat every Property I serviced as if it were my grandmother’s house. Early on that just a little bit of extra effort goes a long way in making just about anybody’s day a little better.
Advice is hard to give in this industry, especially in this area. It’s a crapshoot. There are a few of us that truly care and have made it a goal to be better than the rest. On the other hand there are a lot of fly by nighters out there that thought they were out out smarting the system, taking the easy route… figuring out quickly that it takes a special breed of person to do this job day in and day out. Through the 110 plus degree days, and bad weather in a professional, considerate and courteous manner. it is hard to sing that man out in the beginning given a very short period of time they make the job of sorting easy for you.
Never was much for working indoors. Love the sun and the freedom. Have always been more afraid of getting bulb burn than sunburn. Fluorescent lights….sure don’t do much for a nice tan.

I have a temp fence as this is a rental and I have an indoor dog that I need to keep in my yard so the back has to be cut with push mower as gate isn’t big enough for a rider. Also I have an area in the front that I would like to trim trees and pull weeds
