This person wanted me to pay him directly through zelle before he arrived to cut my grass. I told him no. He said he did not want to go through GreenPal because they take a fee out of his pay. I said I did not feel comfortable doing that because I had not met him. He push back and said that he would take Paypal because he wanted to go around GreenPal. I again said no. He never responded, then cancelled my appointment. The full text exchange is below: Nico: Hi Doug, This is Nico with Keep It Green Llc. I just want to if you was okay with doing the payment through zelle because greenpal do take a percentage of my money And don't worry, your car would not be charged on a pawn arrival. I will cancel appointment we have on greenpal Card Doug: I don't have zelle, but until we can get familiar with each other, I'd like to keep it through the app. Once we establish a working relationship, I'm open to paying cash if it can mutually help us both Nico: And what about PayPal? Because like I told you greenpal does take a percentage of my money Doug: I'm open to alternative ways of payment after I meet you, verify your authenticity, and see your work. Doing so upon the first appointment would be ignorant on my behalf since I have never met you. Let's see how this first appointment goes, then we can find alternative ways of payment to mutually benefit each other
